We provide insurance and risk management solutions for our clients. This allows us to provide you with the right amount of insurance and the correct type of coverage for your needs.
About Us
Mark A Garland is the owner and president of Garland Insurance & Financial Services, LLC. From 1993 to present, Mark enjoyed several progressive roles within the insurance industry and has worked as a statistical, financial, and compliance analyst, providing business analytics services, finance, underwriting, and claims management for A+ Rated Insurance Carriers. His expertise includes commercial property and casualty, workers' compensation, and sizeable national and international companies. Mark is a licensed GC and has held his commercial general contractor license since 2007. As a result, the firm works with several commercial and residential contractors to provide risk management solutions and operational consulting services.
In 2008 mark founded Paramount Healthcare Services, LLC, which provides group benefits for small, medium, and large businesses. Further, in 2017 Mark founded Paramount Business Services, Inc. This entity offers diversified business services to include risk management, sales, operational, marketing, and fundraising for its existing and new clients.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from Grand Canyon University and will complete his Master of Science in Leadership, early 2021, from his alma mater. Mark also plans to commence his doctoral studies in Organizational Behavior with an Emphasis on Strategic Leadership.
Mark's leadership philosophy embodies the Servant Leadership style for his business enterprises. He also served his country in the United States Army, 82nd Airborne Division, as an infantryman and as a result of his Airborne Infantry service, he is a disabled Veteran.
His life is dedicated to helping others live their lives to the fullest, to wake up every day, give a little more, and be a bit better than the day before. His life is about learning and growing and helping others do the same. His business pursuits are not “work” for him; they are his passion. When not chasing his business dreams, he enjoys being outdoors, hunting, pursuing his advanced belts in Krav Maga, Jiu-Jitsu.
